Theme scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:10, Matt 14:16-17

In the last 3 Sundays we looked at the “Seed Faith” Principle, Your Seed is your Insurance and the Power of Your Seed (Gen 8:22, Psalm 126:5-6, Luk 6:38)

And in those services we established that:

The seed has the life-giving ability in it that causes it to reproduce.
1.    It also has the ability of reproducing after its own kind. – As long as you are on earth when you sow expect a harvest.
2.    You are always going to have seeds with you but what you do with them is what really matters (the Widow of Zarephath and Isaac in the land of Gerar)
3.    Seeds are valuable objects that have the inherent ability to multiply when placed in the right environment. So it matters the environment you sow your seeds.
When you sow into the advancement of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, you can be sure everything about you will be top on God’s priority list and that’s a sure way to walk in increase and prosperity!
4.    God always responds to givers (the Roman Centurion and King Solomon)
As you give, not only will the Lord multiply your seeds sown, He’ll also increase your capacity to give, so that you can have more.

Whenever you give to God, He MULTIPLIES YOUR SEED and releases an abundant harvest to you. That’s his nature, He is a multiplier. He never gives you back exactly what you gave back to Him. He multiplies it and ensures that your storehouse bursts at the seams with an overflow of abundance (Proverbs 3:9-10)

Jesus demonstrated this when He fed five thousand men (women and children not counted) with five loaves and two fishes. The Bible records that the multitude had been with Him in a desert place for three days, listening to Him teach. His disciples got troubled and asked to send the people away so they could go into the neighboring villages to get food (Matthew 14:15). But Jesus said to them “They need not depart: give ye them to eat. And they say unto Him, We have here five loaves and two fishes”(Matthew 14:`6-17).

Naturally, five loaves of bread, no matter how big, and two fishes, no matter how large, certainly wouldn’t suffice to feed five thousand men (not including the women and children). But then, the Bible says, Jesus took the five loaves and two fishes in His hands and blessed them. When He did, the anointing came on the bread and the fish, and He asked the disciples to feed the multitude!
After they had eaten, twelve baskets full of bread and fishes were gathered as left-overs (Mark 6:43). It stands to reason that the leftover twelve baskets went to the little boy, who volunteered his lunch with which the Master fed the multitude. He received more than enough, because he gave the Lord what he had, and the Lord multiplied it!

It’s the same with Peter in Luke 5:1-11. Peter had made his boat available for the Master to teach the people there and afterwards Jesus asked Peter to cast his net to the right side for the catch of his life. At this point it would have been naturally impossible for Peter to expect any fish in that water as he had toiled all night in that same water and there was no result. However, the anointing (the power of God) released as Jesus gave the Word produced the might harvest of fishes such that the net brake and Peter needed help from the other fishermen to bring in the harvest to shore. Hallelujah!

Irrespective of the prevalent economic situation in the country, you can still prosper and make progress. Learn to listen to the Spirit of God for direction. Wherever He tells you to go is where you should go, and whatever He tells you to do is what you should do. Isaac became very great because he followed God’s instructions. It didn’t matter that there was famine in the land, his results turned out differently.

You have the anointing to prosper because you have Christ (the anointing) in you. Whatever, you give to God, comes back multiplied because of that anointing. Just like the little boy’s lunch and Peter’s boat when you give to God, he only increases you. Keep sowing your seeds and giving to God’s work, and He’ll see to it that you are plugged to an unending supply. He’ll multiply your seeds sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.

•    You have the anointing to prosper when you have the Holy Spirit living in you. Like the Master, be supply conscious and give to God and watch Him multiply your seeds to a mighty harvest.
There are several projects this Month of May to sow your seeds (The Seed Initiative; ROR Sponsorship to celebrate our Nation’s Democracy day, the Children’s Day celebration, Bible distribution, etc.)
